2018 BMW 3-Series

2018 BMW 3-Series: The 2018 BMW 3-Series is a luxury sports sedan that competes with the Audi A4, Lexus IS, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. For 2018, it sees the addition of a standard backup camera and LED taillights. A wagon version is available.

Available engines include a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower, a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel four-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower, a 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 248 horsepower, and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder that makes 320 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid that makes 247 total remains available, and the M performance version carries over unchanged with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder that makes 425 horsepower. Available transmissions include six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic. The 3-Series is offered with rear- or all-wheel drive.

The 3-Series is offered in five trims: Sport, Luxury, Shadow Sport, M Sport, and M3. Available features include heated front seats, navigation, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite radio, premium audio, USB, and active cruise control.

Available safety features include 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, automatic braking, collision warning, stability control, traction control, and front-side and front-knee airbags.
