2018 Audi Q5: The 2018 Audi Q5 and its sporty twin the SQ5 are compact luxury crossover SUVs that compete with the BMW X3, and Cadillac XT5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. For 2018 the Q5 has been completely redesigned inside and out, and now features standard all-wheel drive, new driver safety technology, and a new trim-specific engine with increased horsepower.
The 2018 Q5 offers one engine: A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 252 horsepower, and is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The sporty SQ5 features a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine that makes 354 horsepower, and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All trims now offer standard all-wheel drive. The Q5 has EPA-estimated fuel-economy of 23 mpg city/27 mpg highway, and the SQ5 delivers 19/24.
Three different trims are offered: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Available features include infotainment system, virtual cockpit, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation system with Google Maps, satellite radio, panoramic sunroof, leather seats, Bluetooth, premium audio, heated front seats, front and rear fog lights and tri-zone climate control.
Available safety features include rear-view camera with rear-cross traffic alert, automatic braking, lane-departure warning, LED headlights, blind-spot monitoring, head-up display, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
