2018 Acura TLX: The 2018 Acura TLX is a five-seat sports sedan that competes with vehicles such as the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, Cadillac ATS, Jaguar Lexus IS and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. For 2018 it features a bolder, redesigned exterior and interior, as well as a suite of standard high-tech safety features. A new A-Spec sports variant is also available.
Power comes from either a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 206 horsepower and mates to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 290 horsepower that pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The TLX is available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. All models have all-wheel steering. Fuel-economy is EPA-rated at 23 mpg city/33 mpg highway for the 2.4-liter and 20/32 for the V6 (21/30 with all-wheel drive).
There are four available models: TLX, TLX with Technology Package, TLX A-Spec, and TLX with Advance Package. Convenience features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, heated sideview mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a navigation system, Bluetooth, Pandora internet radio, premium audio, satellite radio, an auxiliary port, USB port, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, and power moonroof.
Safety features include forward-collision warning system, collision-mitigation braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot information, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front- and rear-parking sensors, rearview camera and dual-front, front-side, side-curtain and driver's knee airbags.
