2018 Acura ILX: The 2018 Acura ILX is the brand's smallest five-seat sedan, and it's based on the previous generation Honda Civic. This compact entry-luxury sedan is aimed at younger buyers, and it competes with the Audi A3, Buick Verano and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class. It remains unchanged for 2018 with a sportier special edition model being the only exception.
Power is supplied by a 2.4-liter, 201-horsepower four-cylinder that mates to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The ILX is front-wheel drive and has an EPA-estimated fuel-economy rating of 25 mpg city and 35 mpg highway.
The ILX comes in seven trim levels: ILX, ILX Special Edition, ILX AcuraWatch Plus, ILX Premium, ILX A-Spec, ILX Tech Plus, ILX Tech Plus A-Spec. Available comfort and convenience features include adaptive cruise control, AcuraLink app connectivity, navigation system, Bluetooth, satellite radio, USB port, Pandora internet radio, auxiliary port, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and starting, heated front seats, power moonroof, etc.
Available safety features include forward-collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot warning rear cross-traffic alert, rearview camera, LED daytime running lights, traction control, stability control, and front-side and side-curtain airbags.
