2017 Toyota Prius C: The 2017 Toyota Prius C is a compact version of the venerable Toyota Prius hybrid that seats five. For 2017, it has refreshed exterior styling and adds new safety features. It competes with similar-sized vehicles like the Nissan Versa Note and Volkswagen Golf, regardless of powertrain.

The Prius C is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder that combines with an electric motor and pairs to a continuously-variable automatic transmission (CVT). The Prius C has front-wheel drive and EPA-estimated fuel economy of 48 mpg city and 43 mpg highway.

Available features include Toyota's Entune multimedia and app suite, automatic climate control, keyless entry, cruise control, heated front seats, Bluetooth, USB, satellite radio, and navigation system.

Available safety features include pre-collision system, lane-departure alert, stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, and dual-front, front-seat-cushion, driver-knee, front-side and side-curtain airbags.

The 2017 Toyota Prius C has a base price of $20,150, not including dealer and destination fees.
