Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe

Rolls-Royce Drop Head Coupe: Dynamic, graceful, and inspired by the classic J-class yachts of the 1930s, the Phantom Drophead Coupe continues the long tradition of two-door, four-seat Rolls-Royce convertibles.Despite the word "coupe" being in the name, the Phantom Drophead Coupe is a convertible, and it lists for over $500,000. Under the long hood is a 6.8-liter V12 engine that delivers 453 horsepower and 531-lb. ft. of torque to the rear-wheels. Even though the Drophead Coupe has a curb weight of almost 6,000 pounds, it can move from 0-to-60 mph in 5.6 seconds and reach a governed 150 mph top speed. The rear-hinged coach doors allow easy entrance/exit into the elegant cockpit with sisal carpets. The hand-tailored soft-top canvas roof retracts at the touch of a button. A hidden refrigerator and set of monogrammed glasses is beneath the teak floor of the picnic trunk, and even when the roof is lowered, there's still ample room for a set of golf clubs or luggage.Occupants are shielded from adverse weather conditions by a five-layer soft-top that can open or close in just 25 seconds.
