Ram Power Wagon

2017 RAM POWER WAGON: Ram Trucks selected the 2016 Chicago Auto Show to debut the all-new 2017 Ram Power Wagon. The unveiling took place during a media presentation on Thursday, Feb. 11th, and the Power Wagon models will be on public display in the Ram exhibit from Feb. 13 through Feb. 21.  Based on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty 4x4 Crew Cab, the ’17 Power Wagon backs up its rugged features with a standard 410-horsepower 6.4-liter Hemi V-8, which develops 429-lb.ft. of torque, and up to 10,030-lbs. of towing capacity. An all-new grille with bold billet silver “RAM” letter badge graces the frontend, accented by the black bezel bi-functional projector headlamps with LED signature lights. Note the vent-stamped hood with the added gloss black graphic. Both front and rear bumpers are powder coated, with the front bumper housing a Warn 12,000-lb. winch, roller fairlead and 125 feet of line with nothing visible except a single heavy gauge steel cable and dozer-size hook. Buyers have their choice of two interiors. First trim package includes unique technical grain seats that are finished in diesel gray and black with Sedoso fabric inserts embossed with the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tire tread pattern. Then there’s the premium option that upgrades to leather seats with slate gray stitching and Power Wagon and Ram logos embroidered on the bolsters and sides of the headrests. Both trims levels come with all-black instrument panel, door armrests and 20 percent seat console armrest cover, which are accented in light slate gray stitching. Unique to the Ram Power Wagon and Power Wagon Tradesman edition, are the 17-inch forged, multi-surface aluminum wheels bound in 33-inch tires. Thanks to the larger tires and a suspension lift, the Power Wagon has a 14.3-inch ground clearance, which enables it to navigate severe inclines and declines, as well as plow through water up to 30-inches deep.
