2017 Ram 1500


2017 Ram 1500: Ram is Fiat Chrysler's truck brand, and the 2017 Ram 1500 is a full-size pickup truck that competes with the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150, Nissan Titan, and Toyota Tundra. For 2017, the Ram 1500 adds new standard features and sees other feature upgrades throughout the lineup. The Ram 1500 is available in regular, Quad, and Crew Cab configurations.

The Ram 1500 offers three engines - A 3.6-liter V6 that makes 305 horsepower, a 3.0-liter diesel V6 that makes 240 horsepower and a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 395 horsepower. All versions have an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Ram 1500 is available with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, and EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway for the V6, 21/29 for the diesel, and 15/22 for the V8.

The Ram 1500 is offered in 11 different trims, from Tradesman to Limited, and available features include fog lamps, RamBox storage system, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable pedals, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, cooled front seats, heated rear seats, sunroof, infotainment, USB, Bluetooth, navigation, satellite radio, and premium audio.

Available safety features include park assist, rear-view camera, stability control, anti-lock brakes, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
