2017 Nissan Sentra: The 2017 Nissan Sentra is a compact sedan that competes with similar models such as the Chevrolet Cruze, Ford Focus, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla. For 2017, the five-seat Sentra adds a sporty SR Turbo model, as well as another sporty model, dubbed the NISMO.

The Sentra offers a few engines. One is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that makes 124 horsepower and mates to either a six-speed manual or continuously-variable automatic transmission (CVT). SR Turbo and NISMO models have a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 188 horsepower and offers a choice of a six-speed manual transmission or a continuously-variable automatic. The Sentra is front-wheel drive, and EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 27 mpg city/35 mpg highway (29/37 with the CVT).

The Sentra is offered in S 6MT, S Xtronic, SV, SR, SL, SR Turbo, and NISMO trims. Available features include fog lamps, moonroof, leather seats, heated front seats, satellite radio, Bluetooth, USB, navigation, intelligent cruise control, remote keyless entry, and dual-zone climate control.

Available safety features include rear-view camera, stability control, traction control, forward emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.

The 2017 Nissan Sentra has a base price of $16,990, not including dealer or destination prices.
