2017 Mitsubishi Outlander


2017 Mitsubishi Outlander: The 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander receives an updated interior and new tech and convenience features for 2017. This compact SUV competes with both similar compact SUVs, such as the Chevrolet Equinox, as well as with tall wagons like the Subaru Forester.

The Outlander is powered by either a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 166 horsepower or a 3.0-liter V6 that makes 224 horsepower, and available transmissions include either a six-speed automatic or a continuously-variable automatic. The Outlander is available with either two-wheel or four-wheel drive, and EPA-estimated fuel-economy is listed at 25 mpg city/30 mpg highway for the 2.4-liter with two-wheel drive, 24/29 for the 2.4-liter with four-wheel drive and 20/27 for the four-wheel-drive-only V6.

Available trim levels include ES, SE, SEL, and GT. Significant available features include satellite radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated steering wheel, sunroof, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, and heated front seats.

Available safety features include blind-spot warning, lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, rear-view camera, 360-degree camera, lane-departure warning, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags.
