2017 Mercedes-Benz B-Class: The 2017 Mercedes-Benz B-Class is a five-seat electric car from the German automaker that will compete against the rival BMW i3, as well as the Chevrolet Bolt and Nissan Leaf, as the competition heats up in the electric-car segment.

The front-wheel-drive B-Class will have a 132-kilowatt electric motor and single-speed automatic transmission combination. Horsepower is rated at 177, and the range is set at 87 miles.

Available features include Bluetooth, power front seats, onboard charger, dual-zone climate control, and infotainment and telematics system.

Key available safety features include active brake assist, hill-start assist, park assist, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keep assist.

The base price for the 2017 Mercedes-Benz B-Class has a base price of $39,900, not including associated fees.
