2017 Mazda 3: The 2017 Mazda 3 is sporty compact car that comes in hatchback and sedan flavors and competes against the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. For 2017, the five-seat 3 gets tweaked interior and exterior looks and some minor changes.

The 3 offers two engines - a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 155 horsepower and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 184 horsepower. Both are available with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The Mazda 3 is front-wheel drive, and EPA-estimated fuel-economy numbers range from 25 mpg to city to 37 mpg highway.

Available features include USB, Bluetooth, infotainment system, premium audio, satellite radio, navigation, and heated steering wheel.

Available safety features include blind-spot monitoring, traffic-sign recognition, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, radar cruise control, traction control, stability control, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
