2017 Lincoln MKC: For 2017, the Lincoln MKC, which is Lincoln's sporty compact crossover SUV, adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, among other minor changes. It competes with the Audi Q3 and the BMW X3, as well as the Lexus NX.There are two available engines: A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, and a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. Both engines mate to a six-speed automatic transmission. Models equipped with the smaller engine are available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, while those with the larger engine come with all-wheel drive.The MKC seats five and comes in three trim levels: Premiere, Select, and Reserve. Available features include hands-free liftgate, panoramic all-glass Vista Roof, an app for remote connectivity, and push-button start and shifter.Available safety features include lane-keep assist system, collision-warning system, active park assist with park-out capability, blind-spot warning system, rear-view camera, and dual-front, front-side, driver-knee and side-curtain airbags.The base price for the 2017 Lincoln MKC is $32,880, excluding destination and dealer fees. The MKC is built in Louisville, Kentucky.
