The hybrid combines a 5.0-liter V8 and an electric motor for a total of 438 system horsepower. The hybrid version has a continuously-variable automatic transmission and is all-wheel drive only. EPA-estimated fuel economy is rated at 16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway for the rear-wheel drive LS 460/LS 460 L (16/23 with all-wheel drive) and 19/23 for the hybrid LS 600h L.
