2017 Lexus LS

2017 Lexus LS: The 2017 Lexus LS is the brand's flagship luxury sedan, competing with other high-dollar entries such as the BMW 7-Series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Porsche Panamera and Volvo S90. This five-seat luxury sedan also offers a long-wheelbase and hybrid version. For 2017, the LS, which is also called the LS 460, with the long-wheelbase version called LS 460 L and the hybrid dubbed LS 600h L, mostly carries over, save for the addition of a couple optional special edition packages.

The LS is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 that makes 386 horsepower and mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It's available with rear- or all-wheel drive. The hybrid combines a 5.0-liter V8 and an electric motor for a total of 438 system horsepower. The hybrid version has a continuously-variable automatic transmission and is all-wheel drive only. EPA-estimated fuel economy is rated at 16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway for the rear-wheel drive LS 460/LS 460 L (16/23 with all-wheel drive) and 19/23 for the hybrid LS 600h L.

Available features include power-operated trunk, infotainment system with remote control, dual-zone climate control, power moonroof, premium audio system, USB, Bluetooth, satellite radio, navigation, heated and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, four-zone climate control, rear-seat entertainment, power rear sunshade and Brembo brakes.

Available safety features include stability control, blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, pre-collision system, collision avoidance assist, radar cruise control, rear-view camera and dual-front, front-side, driver- and passenger-knee, side-curtain, ottoman, and rear-side airbags.

The base price for the 2017 Lexus LS is $72,520, not including any dealer or destination fees.
