2017 Kia Soul

2017 Kia Soul: The 2017 Kia Soul is a squared-off, five-seat funky urban runabout that competes against the Fiat 500L and the Mini Cooper. For 2017, it gains more available power. An electric version is available.

The Soul offers three engines: A 1.6-liter four-cylinder that makes 130 horsepower, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 161 horsepower, and a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower. Available transmissions include a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic and a seven-speed automatic. The Soul EV has a 109-horsepower electric motor and a one-speed automatic transmission. The Soul is front-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 24 mpg city to 31 mpg highway.

Available features include fog lamps, satellite radio, navigation, infotainment, Bluetooth, USB, premium audio, leather seats, heated/cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and remote keyless entry.

Available safety features include rear-view camera, stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning system, forward-collision warning, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.

The 2017 Kia Soul has a base price of $15,990, not including dealer or destination fees.
