2017 Honda Pilot

2017 Honda Pilot: The 2017 Honda Pilot carries forward mostly unchanged following a 2016 redesign. The Pilot is a mid-size crossover SUV that seats up to eight and competes with the Chevrolet Traverse, Dodge Durango, Ford Explorer, and Toyota Highlander.

The Pilot is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 280 horsepower and pairs to either a six-speed automatic transmission or a nine-speed automatic. It has either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway for two-wheel-drive models with the six-speed automatic transmission, 18/26 with all-wheel drive and the six-speed automatic, 20/27 with two-wheel drive and the nine-speed automatic, and 19/26 with all-wheel drive and the nine-speed automatic.

Available trim levels include LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. Available features include fog lamps, power tailgate, tri-zone climate control, heated and cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, Bluetooth, satellite radio, USB, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and navigation.

Available safety features include stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, rear-view camera, collision-mitigation braking system, road-departure mitigation system, forward-collision warning system, lane-departure warning, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.

The 2017 Honda Pilot has a base price of $30,595, not including dealer and destination fees.
