2016 CADILLAC CTS: Cadillac's 2016 CTS upscale midsize four-door sedan is offered with an all-new, second-generation 3.6-liter engine that creates 335-horsepower for spirited performance. The standard 2.0L turbo four-cylinder develops 268-hp, and both come with stop/start technology to enhance fuel economy. For maximum performance, the 2016 CTS-V-Sport is equipped with Cadillac's 640-hp twin turbo 6.2-liter V-8 as its exclusive powertrain, helping the car achieve 60 mph in an estimated 4.4 seconds and an estimated top speed of 172 mph. Sending the power to the rear wheels is a new Hydra-Matic paddle-shift eight-speed automatic transmission, standard with each engine, Buyers of the 2.0L Turbo and 3.6 L V-6 powertrains can choice rear-wheel or all-wheel drive systems. The CTS-V is available with all-carbon fiber package includes a more aggressive front splitter, hood vent trim, rear diffuser and a taller, exposed carbon fiber rear spoiler. There are three trim levels, including Luxury, Performance and Premium Collections, and three new premium exterior metallic colors: Moonstone, Stellar Black, and Cocoa Bronze. Cutting edge technology adds the perpendicular parking feature with automatic parking assist, lane keep assist, lane change alert systems and standard rear vision camera. Adaptive remote vehicle starter is now standard on all models. Within the luxurious five-passenger cabin are available heated and ventilated seats that incorporate "thin-seat" technology for comfort and enhanced leg room. Cadillac's signature bold vertical lighting elements - including LED front signature lighting details - evolve with headlamps that flow up and with the hood line. At the rear, first-, second- and third-order bezel elements within the taillamp housings offer a distinctive rear signature for the CTS when illuminated. Pop open the tailored trunk and you can load it up with 13.7-cu. ft. of room for luggage, golf clubs or shopping purchases.
