2015 LOTUS EVORA IPS 2+2: Get your camera ready for the exotic vehicles in the Super Car Gallery exhibit at the Chicago Auto Show (Feb.14-22, 2015). This includes the exotic Lotus Evora IPS 2+2 sports car. “Wowing” the show goers with its swept-forward cabin and aggressive poise, the Evora models come fitted with a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V-6, rear-wheel drive and weighing in at a mere 3,000 pounds. The stock engine develops 276-horsepower/258 lb. ft. of torque, and for more attitude, the supercharged Evora S delivers 345hp and 295lb. ft. of torque with a 0-to-60mph time of 5.0 seconds and a governed 159 mph top speed.  Buyers can select a six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic transmission, as well as 18- or 19-inch alloy rims framed by Pirelli P-Zero tires. In fluctuating traffic conditions the ‘IPS’ (Intelligent Precision Shift) automatic version with paddle shift control provides a more relaxed driving mode thanks to its flowing power delivery. The Evora chassis is composed of an extruded and bonded aluminum structured developed for its lightweight yet incredibly stiff design. Surprisingly, there is a combined 23.0 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the front seat and trunk. For 2015, the Evora is a Lotus created to take you further, for longer, and in greater comfort than ever before. Once behind the wheel of the Evora, the “so many roads, so little time” Lotus tagline becomes quite evident.
