STEVE PHILLIPOS OF CHEVROLET OF HOMEWOOD ELECTED TO CHICAGO AUTOMOBILE TRADE ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Steve Phillipos, owner of Chevrolet of Homewood, joins the CATA Board.
CHICAGO (July 16, 2019) - Steve Phillipos, owner of Chevrolet of Homewood, was recently elected to the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) board of directors.
"The CATA board has always been very helpful," said Phillipos. "They make the time to answer legal questions, offer advice and provide counsel whenever I needed answers. They truly are the eyes and ears for our industry. I will serve with pride and dignity for our industry. I was truly honored when elected."
Phillipos, born in Chicago and currently a resident of Frankfort, Illinois, began working exclusively in the auto industry in 1981. He became owner of Chevrolet of Homewood in 2002. Prior to that, Phillipos was a partner at Steve Peters Chevrolet and worked as a general manager for AutoNation.
An alumnus of St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois, Phillipos attended Loyola University Chicago. He is a member of the Chicagoland Chevrolet Dealers ad association.
Phillipos is an active fundraiser for charitable organizations. He supports the Glenwood School for Boys & Girls, created HomewoodChevyCares.com, hosts an annual food drive, coat drive and school supplies program. In addition, Homewood Chevrolet presents a monthly "social media for a good cause" award and annually gives away a car to a family in need.
