SEMA Gets Camaro Crazy

SEMA is going “Camaro Crazy” as more and more tuners cover the Bow-Tie pony car. Camaro’s riding a storm surge after playing a key role in the blockbuster movies "Transformers", and "Transformers 2." The yellow and black beauty, which made its debut at last year's Chicago Auto Show has been extremely popular among tuners at this year's SEMA Show.
Chevrolet took on five concepts based on the 2010 Camaro, using present and future dealer-installed accessories. The lineup includes:
- "A race-ready, twin-turbocharged V-6 concept built for talk show host and auto enthusiast Jay Leno
- The Camaro Synergy concept that reveals a new, limited-production exterior color for spring 2010 and is accented with a number of production accessories and custom touches
- The Camaro Chroma, an SS-based concept with a number of future accessories
- The Camaro Dusk, which incorporates current and proposed accessories to create a contemporary tuner aesthetic
- Camaro Graphics, highlighting six proposed accessory graphics packages, with online voting by the public to gauge interest in potential future production of one or more of the packages."
Fesler-Moss also announced three 2010 Camaro upgrade packages. Their top tier "Limited Edition" package goes for $110,000 (without the car) and boasts a huge lineup of upgrades including a GM LS-9 supercharged engine with a color-matched engine block, a 6-speed manual transmission, an adjustable coil over suspension and front and rear sway bars, race brakes, hideaway headlights, and stainless steel bi-modal exhaust.
