FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FAN FAVORITES CAMP JEEP AND RAM TRUCK TERRITORY INDOOR TEST TRACKS RETURN TO 2022 CHICAGO AUTO SHOW
2022 Chicago Auto Show Runs Feb. 12-21 at McCormick Place

CHICAGO (Jan. 25, 2022) - Fan favorite indoor test tracks return to the Chicago Auto Show this February including Camp Jeep-which celebrates its 18th year at the show-and the Ram Truck Territory interactive ride experience. Professional drivers will navigate attendees through the interactive courses in Jeep's latest vehicle lineup, including the all-electric 4xe and plug-in hybrid Wrangler 392, as well as Ram's 1500 light duty and 2500/3500 heavy duty trucks. The public show runs Feb. 12-21 at McCormick Place and tickets are on sale now.

"Especially today with the shortage of vehicle inventory, there aren't many opportunities for people to see new vehicles, let alone have the chance to get behind the wheel of a variety of makes and models," said Chicago Auto Show Chairman Bill Haggerty. "The Chicago Auto Show is the perfect destination for vehicle shoppers to see and experience an array of brand-new vehicles all under one roof. We're thrilled to have Camp Jeep and Ram Truck Territory return this year, adding to the handful of indoor test track opportunities available to show attendees this February."

The ultimate off-road driving test, Camp Jeep has been a Chicago Auto Show staple since 2005, and this year, Camp Jeep will feature an even steeper and much bigger hill than it has offered in the past. In 2022, Camp Jeep's "Mountain" will be 28 ft. (versus 18 ft.), 4,000 sq. ft. bigger and able to accommodate 50,000 lbs. more freight. The rigorous course will be comprised of several obstacles that stimulate some of the testing Jeep vehicles endure before customers get behind the wheel. Obstacles include ground clearance stair climber, maneuverability moguls, extreme break-over, tunnel pass-through, hill ascent/descent with the larger and steeper mountain, off-camber and 30-degree banked wedge. Each Camp Jeep participant will also receive a complimentary Jeep tote bag, while supplies last.

Jeep vehicles featured in Camp Jeep include the Wrangler Rubicon, Wrangler 4xe, Wrangler 392, Gladiator Rubicon, Gladiator Mojave, Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, Grand Cherokee Overland and Summit Reserve, Cherokee Trailhawk and Compass Trailhawk.

The Ram Truck Territory track is a 28,000-sq.-ft. ultimate in-truck adventure designed to demonstrate the power and capabilities of the Ram Truck brand vehicle lineup. Chicago Auto Show attendees will have the opportunity to get inside Ram 1500 light duty and 2500/3500 heavy duty trucks to experience their technology, interior refinement and capability.

Professional drivers will take guests through a course that will showcase ride handling capability and suspension options as they conquer steel culverts and navigate a high banked wedge to spotlight Ram trucks' ground clearance and stability. The towing of the Ram 3500 Highoutput 6.7L Cummins Diesel powered truck will also be demonstrated as trucks hitch to the 24-ft.-tall Ram "Tow Power Tower" and lift a weight to simulate towing 15,000 lbs. Riders will also feel the traction and experience hill descent technology on the iconic "Ram Mountain," a 13-ft. high, 30-ft. long course element with 30-degree approach and departure angles.

Featured Ram vehicles include the 1500 Laramie, 1500 Limited, 1500 Rebel, 2500 75th Anniversary Power Wagon, 2500 Limited and 3500 Limited 6.7L Cummins High-Output.

"Our new indoor Camp Jeep at this year's Chicago Auto Show will be bigger and better than ever in the Jeep brand's 18th year at the event," said Jason Russ, head of experiential marketing, Stellantis. "With over 4,000 more square feet added to its overall footprint, and over ten feet added to its mountain, consumers will be treated to a more exhilarating experience with vehicles including the all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and other favorites including the Jeep Gladiator. Additionally, our Ram Truck Territory track, another fan favorite, gives show attendees the opportunity to experience the power and capability of our highly awarded light duty and heavy duty trucks."
