CHICAGO (Feb. 11, 2022) - Automotive manufacturers, exhibitors and enthusiasts from all over the world are revving up for the 2022 Chicago Auto Show, to take place Feb. 12-21 at McCormick Place. The show is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day, except for the final day of the show (Presidents Day) when it closes at 8 p.m. Tickets for the public show are now available for purchase online at ChicagoAutoShow.com.

"While there were many wonderful aspects of our 'special edition' show last summer, we're excited to return to February as it's historically been an ideal time for consumers to get out and beat the winter doldrums by experiencing the industry's latest cars, trucks and SUVs," said Chicago Auto Show Chairman Bill Haggerty. "And this year, we're offering attendees more opportunities to experience six indoor test tracks - more than the show has ever had - as well as chances to take test drives on city streets."

The indoor test track lineup includes:

Powering Chicago EV Track
Powering Chicago electrifies the consumer experience with an all-new EV track. Attendees have the chance to experience and learn about the latest EVs to hit the market like the BMW i4 M50 and Kia EV6.

Toyota Drive Center and Proving Grounds
Attendees will experience the all-new, completely redesigned 2022 Tundra. Toyota's track features an articulation rack to showcase the new high-strength boxed, steel-ladder frame, aluminum-reinforced composite bed and fully redesigned multi-link rear suspension of the Tundra. Also making its Chicago Auto Show debut is the Toyota Proving Grounds, offering multiple surfaces designed to showcase the off-road upgrades found on the new Tundra, including Multi-Terrain Select and CRAWL Control.

Ford Built Wild and Built to Electrify
Ford will also offer fans a chance to experience its Bronco family of vehicles as well as new electric vehicles like the F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E in Built Wild and Built to Electrify.

Camp Jeep
The ultimate off-road driving test, Camp Jeep has been a Chicago Auto Show staple since 2005 and, this year, it celebrates its 18th anniversary at the show. In 2022, Camp Jeep will feature an even steeper and much bigger hill than it has offered in the past. The rigorous course will be comprised of several obstacles that stimulate some of the testing Jeep vehicles endure before customers get behind the wheel. Obstacles include ground clearance stair climber, maneuverability moguls, extreme break-over, tunnel pass-through, hill ascent/descent with the larger and steeper mountain, off-camber and 30-degree banked wedge.

Ram Truck Territory
Ram Truck Territory returns to the Chicago Auto Show with the ultimate in-truck adventure offering attendees the chance to experience the trucks' latest tech and capabilities. Professional drivers will navigate attendees through the interactive courses in Jeep's latest vehicle lineup, including the all-electric 4xe and plug-in hybrid Wrangler 392, as well as Ram's 1500 light duty and 2500/3500 heavy duty trucks. The public show runs Feb. 12-21 at McCormick Place and tickets are on sale now.

In addition to the indoor test tracks, there are many opportunities for attendees to get behind the wheel and take test drives on city streets. This year, Ford, Kia and Subaru will be offering outdoor test drives in their latest vehicles.

Also new this year, show organizers will honor first responders (police officers, EMTs, paramedics and firefighters) and U.S. Military (veterans or active duty) by hosting a First Responders and Military Appreciation Day on Tuesday, Feb. 15. On that day, all first responders and military will receive complimentary admission when they present their badge or military ID. Moreover, guests who accompany first responders or military personnel will receive a voucher for $5 off an adult admission.

The 2022 show runs Feb. 12-21 at McCormick Place and is open to the public 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day, except for the final day (Presidents Day) when the show closes at 8 p.m. Adult ticket prices are $15; seniors ages 62 and older are $10; children ages 4-12 are $10; kids 3 and younger are free.
