Cadillac Introduces XT5 Sport during the
Chicago Auto Show Media Preview

CHICAGO (Feb. 7, 2019) – Cadillac unveiled the limited-edition 2019 XT5 Sport at the Chicago Auto Show Media Preview on Feb. 7. Joining the XT4, XT6 and Escalade, the XT5 Sport rounds out the Cadillac portfolio with aggressive style.

“The new XT5 Sport harmonizes styling cues from Cadillac’s new Sport models, first launched on the XT4 and the all-new XT6,” said Steve Carlisle, General Motors senior vice president and president of Cadillac.

“It gives our best-selling XT5 a dark, aggressive appearance and expands customer choices within our successful crossover portfolio,” Carlisle continued.

The new limited-edition Sport is offered on the XT5’s Luxury and Premium Luxury trims including the following notable features: a gloss black grille with Galvano surround, LED headlamps, neutral-density taillamp lenses, side-assist steps, 20-inch aluminum wheels and Sport pedals.

A host of technology features include adaptive remote start, a Bose eight-speaker audio system, leather-appointed heated front seats, automatic heated steering wheel and a programmable memory height power liftgate.

Connectivity features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Cadillac Connected Apps and an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Under the hood, the XT5 Sport has a 310-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine, featuring cylinder deactivation and stop/start technologies.

The starting price for the Luxury trim level is $49,490. The 2019 Cadillac XT5 Sport is $2,995 on the Luxury trim level and $1,995 on the Premium Luxury model. The XT5 Sport will be available to order this spring.
