Alfa Romeo Unveils 4C Spider Italia during the
Chicago Auto Show Media Preview

CHICAGO (Feb. 7, 2019) – The limited-edition Alfa Romeo 2020 4C Spider Italia made its debut during the 2019 Chicago Auto Show Media Preview on Feb. 7. Limited to a run of just 15 vehicles for North America, the 4C Spider Italia offers a mid-engine design inspired by Alfa Romeo’s racing history and sportiness.

Ben Lyon, head of Alfa Romeo product brand marketing, said “As far as production numbers go, we’re limiting this vehicle to only 15 units, making it an instant collector’s edition.”

Created and handcrafted in Modena, Italy, the 4C Spider Italia is the embodiment and representation of Alfa Romeo’s heritage. The 4C Spider Italia features a performance-tuned engine and exhaust, Formula 1-inspired carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a rear backup camera, park sensors and cruise control – as standard.

Additional special standard features include the all-aluminum 1.8-liter turbocharged engine with direct-injection, dual intercoolers and variable-valve timing, enabling supercar-level performance. The limited-edition model offers 237 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque going from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 160 mph. Additionally, the 4C Spider Italia exclusively features a Misano blue metallic exterior; unique 4C Spider Italia graphic and logo; and a black front air intake and rear diffuser.

The 2020 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia comes in at $66,900 and will be available the second quarter of this year in local showrooms. For more information or to add a name to the list, contact Alfa Romeo’s concierge via sales@alfaromeo.com.
