CHICAGO (Feb. 10, 2017) - Mopar - the service, parts and customer care organization within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles - revealed the limited-edition Mopar '17 Dodge Challenger at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show Media Preview breakfast.

The eighth in the series of vehicles rolled out by the brand since 2010, the Mopar '17 Dodge Challenger will be produced in extremely limited quantities - 80 in two-tone pitch black/contusion blue and 80 in pitch black/billet silver, in celebration of Mopar's 80th anniversary celebration.

The Mopar '17 Dodge Challenger comes equipped with a 6.4-liter, 392 Hemi engine capable of delivering 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque. It features a cold air intake system to boost performance, an upgrade inspired by the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

The Mopar '17 Dodge Challenger aims to demonstrate the customizability of the FCA brand and features custom paints and available upgrades, including embroidered performance seating, a numbered Mopar '17 badge, and a commemorative owner's kit that comes with a "birth certificate" and letter from Pietro Gorlier, head of parts and service for FCA - Global.

"Personalizing your car is one of the most important 'why buy' factors of a vehicle," said Gorlier. "The Mopar '17 Dodge Challenger showcases how Mopar assists owners in personalizing all FCA U.S. vehicles."

The Mopar '17 Dodge Challenger will be available in select dealerships across the U.S. and Canada beginning the second quarter of 2017. The starting price is $55,790 before taxes and destination fees.
