2022 ANA Driving Influence Award Submission Form
The Chicago Auto Show has again teamed up with the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) on the Driving Influence Award – an annual award given to a manufacturer that harnesses the power of influencer marketing to engage automotive customers authentically, creatively and impactfully. 2022 marks the third year of the partnership with ANA. Prior to that, show organizers partnered with the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) to present a similar award, before WOMMA was acquired by the ANA in 2018.
Submissions from auto manufacturers or their PR/marketing/advertising agencies will be accepted between Jan. 3-24, 2022.
Campaign launched after 1/1/21 and ended by 12/31/21
Campaign centered around an influencer/influencers and leveraged the influencer's social channels and audiences to promote an automotive product or service
Campaign demonstrated measurable results
*When reporting results, please use these ANA Influencer Marketing metrics and definitions. Please define any additional metrics provided and briefly share the measurement methodology for all results.
Judges will be looking for:
Strategy (A sound strategy behind the development and launch of the campaign, and were the business goals that the brand set out to achieve met?)
Creativity (Evidence of originality and innovation)
Results (Evidence of success, i.e. engagement, sales lift, impressions, etc.)
Three finalists will be announced following the submission deadline of Jan. 24, 2022. The winner will be announced in conjunction with the 2022 Chicago Auto Show Media Preview, which takes place Feb. 10-11. Due to ANA’s current in-person event guidelines, this award announcement will take place virtually for this particular show. The winner will also have the opportunity to present the campaign details during ANA’s Influencer Marketing Committee Meeting scheduled for Feb. 17, 2022.
