2017 WOMMA "Driving Engagement" Award

The "Driving Engagement" Award is back for a fifth year! The Chicago Auto Show has again teamed up with Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) to highlight one automotive manufacturer with the most "buzz-worthy" social media campaign of the year. The "Driving Engagement" Award will be presented to the winning automaker during a special awards ceremony at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show Media Preview on Friday, Feb. 10.

WOMMA's Judging Criteria

  • Campaign launched between 1/1/16 - 12/1/16
  • Submissions must be made by an auto manufacturer or an auto manufacturer’s agency 
  • Demonstrates clear use of one or more social media platform (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.) to drive word of mouth and engage consumers
  • Clearly communicates brand objectives
  • Highlights creative and innovative solution
  • Demonstrates measurable results
  • Must comply with at least two categories of metrics, found here: WOMMA Measurement Instructions
