Let’s Give ‘Em Something to Tweet About

Posted by: Jennifer Ferm

Log on to our Twitter account "ChiAuto Show09" (https://twitter.com/ChiAutoShow09) to read posts related to the Chicago Auto Show. Chicago Automobile Trade Association staff, as well as the 10 Chicago Auto Show interns, will post frequently from the show. Of course we'll still have our blog, but if you're looking for the quick version, all you have to do is search the hash tag #CAS09 to follow the tweets!

Show updates from the show floor will be provided, including all action during the media preview days as well as the public show. Anyone can retrieve updates even if they’re not physically on the show floor. Chicago Auto Show Twitter followers are also encouraged to use the #CAS09 hash tag when posting comments of their own. This feature allows everyone tweeting and/or reading posts from the Chicago Auto Show to see only posts from the 2009 show.

If you’re not that familiar with Twitter, the site is described as “a free social messaging utility for staying connected in real-time.” The Wikipedia definition is “Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.

Be sure to check out our Twitter feed. You’ll feel like you’re in the action on the show floor.
