LAST CHANCE TO SEE THE 2020 CHICAGO AUTO SHOW, THE NATION'S LARGEST

CHICAGO (Feb. 17, 2020) – The Chicago Auto Show, the nation's largest, is proud to partner with the Daily Herald to present Family Day, on its final day Monday, Feb. 17. A host of activities are planned throughout the day, from musical performances to kid-friendly activities.

Held annually on Presidents Day, Family Day offers special themed programs designed to engage and entertain children of all ages. The activities will take place in the special events area adjacent to the North Hall Ticket Lobby.
"Presidents Day is a perfect chance to families to come out to experience the nation's largest auto show, as most children have the day off of school for the holiday," said Tony Guido, Chicago Auto Show chairman. "From Ford's scramble nets that hang above the show floor, to interactive driving simulators, to virtual reality experiences, and even live music, Family Day activities will further up the ante to close out this year's Chicago Auto Show with a bang."

In addition to the nearly 1,000 cars, trucks and SUVs on display, Family Day attendees will have access to interactive displays ranging from Chevrolet's "Create Your Own Comic Strip" with a green screen backdrop, Nissan's trivia game, Subaru's 5D National Park Foundation Welcome Center and pet adoptions all show long.

Show-goers also have the chance to take a ride in four indoor test tracks including Jeep, Ram, Toyota and Volkswagen. Jump behind the wheel in the latest models offered from Ford, Honda and Subaru in three outdoor ride-and-drive opportunities.

Throughout the last day of the show, family-centered programs from a variety of partners will take place on the event stage just outside of the North Hall ticket lobby, including:
