Hyundai Prices Elantra GT at less than $19,000
Introduced at last year's Chicago Auto Show, Hyundai has officially announced pricing for the 2013 Elantra GT. Starting at $18,395 with manual transmission, the fun, four-door compact hatchback boasts 39 highway mpg, 148 horsepower and has more interior space than some of its primary competitors. The starting price for the upgraded six-speed automatic model is just $19,395 plus destination.
The Elantra GT is the lightest five-door hatchback in its category and has sport-tuned suspension, heated front seats, a driver knee airbag and an optional rear camera. The Elantra GT is available as an Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) or Partial Zero Emission Vehicles (PZEV).
Hyundai also priced the Hyundai Elantra Coupe. It was also introduced at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show and will start at just $16,650, not including destination.
