Hyundai Helps Fans Create the Ultimate Zombie Survival Machine

You probably recall the Elantra Coupe ZE, a.k.a. Hyundai’s "Zombie Survival Machine," that was featured at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show – in association with the hit television series The Walking Dead. Now, auto buffs and Walking Dead fans can build their very own virtual zombie survival machine with Hyundai’s new app called Walking Dead Chop Shop.
Available as both a mobile app and desktop version, you can choose one of three Hyundai vehicles: the Veloster Turbo, Santa Fe or Elantra. Once you select your post-apocalyptic ride, you then have a choice of colors (including Apocalypse Black), decals (such as "Alive Inside") and nearly 300 additional zombie survival accessories (such as flamethrowers).
Now that you’re prepared to face zombies head on, the simulator calculates your likelihood of survival percentage. If you make it out alive, Hyundai may even select to build your vehicle for the New York Comic-Con convention in October. Get building here: http://walkingdeadchopshop.com/
Here are a couple pieces of advice from Hyundai: "There's room for seven survivors inside" and you won't have to worry about "getting zombie all over your seats. They're easy to wipe clean."

In association with the hit television series 'The Walking Dead' - Hyundai has created the 2013 Elantra Coupe "Zombie Survival Machine." The concept is for when the dead reanimate with appetite for human flesh, mobile security such as this Elantra Coupe ZE will be of the utmost importance. Engineered to be a multipurpose, fully functional survival vehicle, the Elantra Coupe ZE pumps out 148 horsepower, and is festooned with armor plating capable of protection you from a ramshackle human scavenger to a full-on herd. The reinforced unibody construction absorbs and withstand the mass of a zombie mob, while the street-armored glass provides protection from grapples and toxic bio-liquids. Note the ‘herd plow’ up front. It’s made of carbon fiber, and will clear passages through the debris of urban decay, and thwart the attacks of any oncoming enemies. Smart survivors know the importance of personal space, so the Elantra Coupe ZE is fitted with titanium wheel pikes to ensure that ne’er-do-wells do indeed give you all the space you need. A ‘Doom Whistle’ is included, which can be used to both lure zombies away from a location or disperse would-be human attackers. An ultraviolet radiation dome light neutralize harmful bacteria and freshen stale air. Finally, the decomp exhaust system enables you to simulate a zombie scent. Just hit the decomp switch to mask your presence among the undead, and gain greater access and enhanced security.
