2017 Chicago Auto Show Show Guide - page 22

One of the best and most unique
aspects of the Chicago Auto Show is
the chance for attendees to not only
touch and see the hundreds of cars
on display, but to actually experience
the cars and have fun with various
games and interactive stations across
the show floor. Somewhere, in the
more than 1 million square feet of automotive nirvana,
something is sure to please everyone at the show. From
test tracks to family games to roaring engines, this year’s
show is full of excitement!
A complete list of interactive displays, special events
and appearances can be found on the show’s website,
chicagoautoshow.com, or can be had on the show’s
official mobile app, found in the Google or Apple stores.
Test Tracks:
Take a ride on one of the five indoor test tracks at the
show! All located in the South Hall, these tracks will
help you get the full CAS experience and excitement.
Returning are Camp
Jeep, Toyota RAV4 and
Highlander Experience
and the City Drive FCA
track. New this year are
the Ram Truck Territory
and Mercedes-Benz Iron
Schöeckl. Both of these
tracks showcase the
impressive capabilities of
some serious work and
play vehicles.
Ride and Drive:
Actually get behind the wheel and take a car for a test
drive! Mazda, Kia, Ford, and Subaru are all offering Ride
and Drive opportunities at the show for attendees to take
a vehicle on a spin around the block. Ask a representative
in the booth or find these Ride and Drive stations located
in the North or South Lower Lobby. This opportunity
could also have financial benefits for car shoppers, too!
Family Fun:
The Chicago Auto Show is truly fun for the whole
family. The Chrysler Pacifica Family Fun area in the
Chrysler display
in the South Hall
is sure to be a
crowd-pleaser
with kids’ games
and activities.
Also in the
South Hall, don’t miss the Chevrolet Dealers Blackhawks
Family Fun Zone. Make a whole day out of family fun on
Family Day at the Chicago Auto Show on Monday, Feb.
20, when there will be special guests and activities for
kids and adults all day around the show.
LEGO
®
Batmobile from Chevrolet:
A life-sized LEGO
®
Batmobile is on display in the
Chevrolet display in the North Hall. It’s an incredible
sight to see! Kids and adults will all drop their jaws when
they see how large and lifelike this plastic car really is.
Ford Excitement:
If you’re stopping by the Ford booth, be sure not
to miss the excitement! Every hour, hear a loud roar
throughout McCormick Place as Ford demonstrates
the Mustang on the dynamometer. While you’re there,
stop by and say hello to Hank the Robot! He will talk
and interact with you and tell you all about Ford and
its products. And lastly, get in line to try your hand at
Ford’s performance simulating video game. Perched on
a hydraulic platform, this isn’t your typical video game
experience and is sure to give you a taste of what it’s like
to be behind the wheel of a Ford.
Sponsor Booths:
Don’t leave the show without seeing the fun activities
and giveaways our sponsors have. Spin the wheel at Shell
in the North Hall to win cents off per gallon on your next
fill-up! State Farm is showing off its newest invention: the
RoadHouse. You won’t want to miss this tiny house on
wheels! Need cash?  ATM’s are located at the Fifth Third
Bank exhibit in the South Hall near the Ford display.
While you’re there, take a spin at the Fifth Third Bank
Prize Wheel where attendees have the chance to win a
number of great prizes.
Oh, and by the way, don’t forget to stop and pick up
some auto show fudge!
