First Sights and Sounds

Chiago Auto Show Move InFor someone who has only heard about the Chicago Auto Show from her grandpa I didn't know exactly what to expect. Grandpa always told stories about all the great cars and how the Chicago Auto Show was the best. What he failed to mention was how amazing it all looked.

The exhibit hall is filled with excitement as everything is being put in its place. Of course, the crews and carmakers are still setting up their areas on the floor, but it was still a sight to see. I walked into a huge room and was instantly hit with a cold blast of air. The heat has yet to be turned on and crewmembers were bundled up as they bustled around the floor getting things ready for the show. The buzzing and beeping of machines fill the exhibit hall and the lights are shining bright. The carpet in the exhibits is covered in plastic while the aisles are still concrete. Each carmaker has their sign up with their name and logo lit up for everybody to see. Many of the displays have video and graphics flashing across the screens with crystal clear pictures. The car companies have created very innovative and eye catching exhibits and displays. These creative displays and exhibits are a must see.

Of course, I can't forget to mention the cars. Many of the cars are arranged in the exhibit while some are still getting moved into place. Crewmembers were hand waxing the cars so they were in pristine condition. These cars are the shiniest cars I have ever seen. The bright lights reflect in the bright colors of the cars and the tinted windows. Every time I thought I saw the coolest car, I would look in another direction and see one that was even better.

I can't wait to watch the floor as it transforms and becomes one of the greatest auto shows in the world.
