Drive a Nissan Leaf this weekend

Last week Chicagoans went to the drive-in courtesy of the Fiat 500, this week you get the chance to actually drive the all-electric Nissan Leaf. The Drive Electric Tour, a one-of-a-kind consumer driving experience, is coming to Chicago and aims to give prospective Nissan Leaf owners the opportunity to learn about the car, its technology and features, and take it for a test drive.
The Drive Electric Tour stops at the Field Museum's East parking lot from August 26 to August 28. There is no charge for participation. Times for the event are as follows:
- Friday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is open to the public and walk-ups are welcome. However, to avoid waiting in line, consumers can register in advance for a test drive at www.drivenissanleaf.com.
