CATA Announces 2016-17 Executive Board
John Hennessy, of River View Ford, was recently elected the 2016-2017 Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) chairman and the 2017 Chicago Auto Show co-chairman. Hennessy will lead a board of 15 dealers and succeeds Mike McGrath, Jr., who is serving as chairman of the 2017 Chicago Auto Show.

They provide an efficient and cost-effective way to sell and distribute new cars,” said Hennessy. “The CATA, one of the nation’s oldest and largest metropolitan dealer associations, brings Chicago-area dealerships together with a collective voice and provides resources to help dealers run more effectively. I am honored to lead the CATA as its chairman.”
Additional executive board officers include: Vice Chairman Ray Scarpelli Jr., Raymond Chevrolet, Raymond Kia, Ray Chevrolet; Treasurer Tony Guido, Arlington Heights Ford; and Secretary Bill Haggerty, Haggerty Buick-GMC in Villa Park, Haggerty Ford.
