Posted by: Jennifer Morand

Ram just announced pricing for the 2017 Ram Power Wagon, that made its world debut at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. The full-size, off-road ready pickup hits Chicago-area dealerships this week and carries an MRSP of $51,695.

Based on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty 4x4 Crew Cab, the ’17 Power Wagon backs up its rugged features with a standard 410-horsepower 6.4-liter Hemi V-8, which develops 429-lb.ft. of torque. Maximum towing capacity is 10,030-lbs. Power Wagon boasts a unique grille with bold billet silver “RAM” lettering, accented by black bezel bi-functional projector headlamps with LED signature lights.

Buyers have their choice of two interiors. The first trim package includes unique technical grain seats that are finished in diesel gray and black with Sedoso fabric inserts embossed with the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tire tread pattern. The second trim is a premium option for $4,495 that upgrades to leather seats with slate gray stitching and Power Wagon and Ram logos embroidered on the bolsters and sides of the headrests. Additional features include FCA’s UConnect infotainment system, 8.4-inch touchscreen, power 10-way adjustable driver seat with memory and 6-way front passenger seat, heated steering wheel, front and rear park assist, backup camera, security alarm and integrated voice command with Bluetooth.

Both trims levels come with all-black instrument panel, door armrests and 20-percent seat console armrest cover, which are accented in light slate gray stitching.

Unique to the Ram Power Wagon and Power Wagon Tradesman edition, are the 17-inch forged, multi-surface aluminum wheels wrapped in 33-inch tires. Thanks to the larger tires and a suspension lift, the Power Wagon has a 14.3-inch ground clearance and 26-inches of wheel travel. According to Ram, Power Wagon can navigate through up to 30-inches of standing water.
