Nissan Sentra Turns Heads

Posted by: Zel Velarde

The all-new 2020 Nissan Sentra makes its Chicago debut at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show. Originally introduced in 1982, the Nissan Sentra reinvents itself and shows why the Sentra remains Nissan’s best-selling model in the United States.

The Sentra is offered in three models: S, SV, and SR. All have been upgraded to a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, giving the Sentra 149 horsepower and 146 lb.-ft. of torque.

The Sentra features a familiar exterior for Altima or Versa owners, but it will look completely different from owners of former Sentra models. The V-motion Grille is also included in the updated face allowing the Sentra to control airflow for different speed situations through the active grille shutters. Not only does it offer eight single-tone color options, but it’s also offered in three two-tone paint color options.

In terms of tech, all models are equipped with an all-new infotainment system that comes with a 7-inch high-definition screen. It also includes dual-zone climate control, cruise control and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration.
The Sentra also offers features such as the remote engine start system, which helps the battle during the cold winter mornings. If that isn’t enough, sit back and relax in the heated front seats to help warm up within seconds. The heated steering wheel feature is also available.

Sentra-2-FINAL

This sedan ups the safety ante by offering the following features as standard: Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 (a suite of six advanced driver-assist systems), ten air bags, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and Driver Attention Alertness.
Warning and Intelligent Around View monitor, the Sentra has raised the bar for competitors. Not only does the ample leg room space make for an inviting road trip, but there’s also ample cargo space.

The Sentra is available in three trim levels, with the S starting at $19,090, the SV at $20,070 and the SR at $21,430. The vehicle is now on sale and can be test-driven at local new-car dealerships. Visit DriveChicago.com to find a Nissan dealership near you.
