The producers of the Chicago Auto Show are plugging into the EV revolution with Chicago Drives Electric, putting you behind the wheel of some of today’s brand-new electric vehicles! This event is designed for attendees to experience the latest EVs, hybrids and plug-in hybrids to showcase a variety of options that may fit individual needs or lifestyles.
In addition to driving and learning about the latest electrified vehicles, experts from the automakers, Cars.com, DriveChicago.com, ComEd, Powering Chicago and others will be on hand to assist with questions as they relate to range anxiety, on-the-go charging networks and infrastructure, at-home charging and installation, and where to begin your search.

Cars.com will have used vehicle appraisal experts on hand Friday and Saturday to offer attendees a free evaluation of their current vehicle and Universal Condition Report. The report will give attendees a list of common problems and recalls, value-impacting features/non-factory modifications, the vehicle’s overall condition and history, and any other considerations that impact the total value of a vehicle. Attendees will get a printout to take with them that includes the current value of their specific vehicle, and if interested in selling their vehicle, they can visit Cars.com/Sell to be contacted by a local dealer.
