Chicago Drives Electric - 2022

CDE-Header-150

The producers of the Chicago Auto Show are plugging into the EV revolution with Chicago Drives Electric, putting you behind the wheel of some of today’s brand-new electric vehicles! This FREE event is designed for attendees to experience the latest EVs, hybrids and plug-in hybrids to showcase a variety of options that may fit individual needs or lifestyles.

In addition to driving and learning about the latest electrified vehicles, experts from the automakers, Cars.com, Charge Enterprises, ComEd, and Powering Chicago will be on hand to assist with questions as they relate to range anxiety, on-the-go charging networks and infrastructure, at-home charging and installation, and where to begin your search.

If you are already registered, here are some things to know BEFORE you attend:
  • Arrive ON-TIME. Arrive as close as possible to your registration window. Upon arrival, you must check-in under the large tent.
  • This is an OUTDOOR EVENT. Dress appropriately. If we have to cancel the event due to severe weather you will be notified via email.
  • Bring your DRIVER'S LICENSE. If you have registered and intend to test drive vehicles, you must have a valid driver's license to participate. If you are not intending to drive, you do not need any form of identification.
