2017 NISSAN ARMADA MAKES WORLD DEBUT AT THE 2016 CHICAGO AUTO SHOW
CHICAGO (Feb. 11, 2016) - Nissan debuted the all-new 2017 Armada full-size SUV at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show, the largest auto show in North America. Nissan is also displaying a trio of "Winter Warriors," custom-built Pathfinder, Murano and Rogue models equipped with special snow tracks in place of their wheels and tires, at the nine-day show.
The full-size SUV is all-new inside and out, styled after the Nissan Patrol, which was never sold in the U.S. Armada's redesigned body features an aggressive stance with bold V-motion front grille and standard LED low-beam headlights and signature LED Daytime Running Lights. In the rear, bold combination lights include LED taillights.
"We're particularly proud that with this new Armada we're setting a new standard in class, offering advanced safety and security features usually reserved for much higher priced luxury sedans or premium SUVs," said Phil O'Connor, Nissan North America director and chief marketing manager.
The 2017 Armada features enhanced performance with a re-engineered 5.6-liter V-8, seven-speed automatic transmission and a number of new security and active safety features. The 2017 Armada is expected to go on sale this summer.
The 2017 Nissan Armada and Nissan "Winter Warriors," along with the complete lineup of 2016 Nissan vehicles, will be on display for Chicago Auto Show attendees to see throughout the duration of the 2016 show.
