2013 McLaren MP4-12C Spider Photos Revealed
If you were lucky enough to attend the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, you undoubtedly saw the McLaren MP4-12C — it was the only one in North America at the time. Now, McLaren has literally taken the top off to create the MP4-12C Spider.
Introduced this week by F1 driver Jenson Button, the 12C Spider has the same impressive 616-horsepower twin-turbo V8 as its hard-topped cousin. McLaren claims it will vault from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds. The Spider is now available for purchase and will be priced from $265,750. The first deliveries to customers are scheduled for late December or early January.
