2013 AUDI A6:
Big news for the 2013 Audi A6 is that owners who order the 2.0-liter four cylinder, can for the first time, match that engine with optional Quattro all-wheel drive. Evolving in its seventh-generation, the A6 mid-size, four-door sedan has a long hood, taut roofline and a three-inch increase in wheelbase over its predecessor. The added increase of 2.9 inches in body width helps the A6 stance as well as the roominess of the five passenger cabin. Due to the use of more aluminum and high-strength steel components, the 2013 A6 weight is reduced by roughly 66 lbs compared to the 2011 model. Audi offers the A6 with the choice of a 211 horsepower 2.0-liter four cylinder engine, or the 3.0L supercharged V-6 that generates 310 hp and 325 ft. lbs. of torque. Power is delivered to either the front-or all-four wheels, and depending on the engine, via a seven-speed sequential, eight-speed automatic or continuously variable multitronic transmission. Among Audi's premium highlights is the Multi Media Interface (MMI) Navigation Plus with voice control system, lane-departure and blind spot warnings in a system that activates protective measures if the vehicle senses a collision is about to happen.
