Lexus CT 200h
2013 LEXUS CT200h:
Introduced two model years ago, the CT200h is Lexus' fifth hybrid vehicle and second dedicated hybrid. For 2013, the sporty four-door hatchback receives minimal changes, continuing with sophisticated packaging, full hybrid technology and ultra-low emissions that are environmentally friendly. Yet, the CT200h offers no compromise on the refinement and driving pleasure inherent in every Lexus. Available in standard and Premium models, the CT 200h is propelled by a twin-cam Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with peak output of 98 horsepower and in combination with the hybrid drive motor, the CT 200h generates 134 total system horsepower to the front wheels. Mated to the two-motor hybrid system is a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and for added fun-to-drive experience, the CT 200h also incorporates a drive-mode selector that allows the driver to toggle between four distinct modes: Normal, Sport, Eco or EV. With a curb weight of 3,196 pounds, the CT200h can easily sprint from 0-60 mph under 10 seconds. The five-passenger wagon is capable of hauling 14.3 cubic feet of goodies when rear seating is folded flat. Factory options list contains a backup camera in the electrochromic (auto-dimming) rearview mirror with compass, pre-collision system, radar cruise control, heat front seats, HD radio with iTunes tagging and Bluetooth hands free phone and phonebook download capabilities. New exterior paint colors for 2013 include Silver Lining Metallic and Ultra White on F Sport package models, and standard 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels are equipped with all-season tires.
