Toyota Yaris
2013 TOYOTA YARIS:
All-new last year, the Toyota Yaris subcompact continues into 2013 in three grade levels and minor tweaking. The entry-level L and value-packaged LE editions are available either as a three-door liftback or five-door liftback, and the sport-tuned SE comes exclusively in five-door configuration. All models are powered by a 106 horsepower 1.5 liter, 16-valve, four-cylinder DOHC engine. Buyers have a choice of the new four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission or smooth-shifting five-speed manual gearbox to help direct power to the front-wheels. New for 2013, all model grades come with the Tech Audio Package as standard. Upgraded, five-passenger interiors offer a 60/40 split fold-down rear seat, while the luggage compartment area has been lengthened by 5.7 inches and widened by 2.1 in., to increase cargo volume by 68 percent for up to 15.6 cu. ft. of room for gym gear or groceries. All models feature full audio connectivity via USB and auxiliary ports, along with a standard AM/FM/CD player, MP3 and WMA playback compatibility, HD radio, six speakers, iPod connectivity, hands-free phone capability and Bluetooth music streaming wireless technology. A total of eight exterior paint colors are offered, including a new Toyota shade titled, Lagoon Blue Mica.
