Buick Regal
2013 BUICK REGAL: A popular brand on display in the Buick exhibit is the Regal lineup for 2013. Perhaps it's Regal's four-door luxury sport sedan convenience with stylish coupe-like proportions, or that Buick IntelliLink is now stock equipment on all Regal models, and heated steering wheel standard with the Turbo package (excluding GS)? Consumers have their choice of four models, starting with the Regal, Regal Turbo, and two new editions - Regal with eAssist (fuel-saving technology), and the high-output Regal GS. There are also five trim levels: Regal (1SL), Premium I (1SN), Premium II (1SP), Premium III (1SR) and GS (1SX). All '13 Regal models rely on the excellent horsepower-per-liter ratio of the four-cylinder Ecotec engine family to deliver efficient, on-demand performance. The 182 horsepower Ecotec 2.4 liter with eAssist is the entry powertrain on Regal 1SL, 1SN and 1SP trim levels. Available at no additional charge is the Ecotec 2.0L turbo that delivers 220hp. When ordering the Regal GS, you'll receive special bodywork and interior trim; a high-output turbo with 270hp, Brembo front brakes and 19-inch alloy wheels or optional 20-inch polished alloy rims. A six-speed automatic transmission with driver shift control is paired with each engine. For those drivers that like stickshifts better, there is a six-speed manual gearbox available on Regal Turbo and GS. New exterior colors for 2013 are Black Diamond Tricoat (premium charge), Champagne Silver metallic and Dark Blue metallic. Buick IntelliLink allows smart phone control via voice activation and steering wheel-mounted controls. It also enables streaming stereo audio from the phone through services such as PANDORA Internet radio and Stitcher SmartRadio.
