Jaguar 2014 XFR-S
2014 JAGUAR XFR-S: Jaguar's ultra-high-performance 2014 XFR-S makes its first appearance at a Chicago Auto Show during the 105th edition, Feb. 9-18, 2013. With its 545 horsepower 5.0-litre supercharged V-8 and 'Quickshift' eight-speed transmission, the XFR-S becomes the fastest, most powerful and agile Jaguar sports saloon ever. Without effort, the XFR-S will sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 186mph. Sensuous exterior body features deep sills and unique 'aero-blades', deeper rear bumper sides, and rear diffuser between the signature quad tailpipes. Two different decklid spoilers are offered. All aerodynamic modifications and extensive use of carbon fiber construction reduces overall lift by 68%. The unique 20-inch, six-spoke, lightweight Varuna forged alloy wheels are wider front and rear and are shod with specially developed Pirelli rubber. Opulent five-passenger cabin offers carbon-printed leather with contrasting stitching and micro-piping, 825-watt, 18-speaker Meridian audio system, and for traveling, the trunk holds up to 17.7 cu. ft. of luggage. The XFR-S is the latest car developed by the Jaguar Land Rover's specialist ETO division, responsible for 'special edition' models and personalization options allowing owners to tailor their cars. There will be only 100 XFR-S sedans offered for the U.S. for the 2014 model years, with an available exterior palette of five colors: French Racing Blue, Ultimate Black, Stratus Grey, Polaris White and Italian Racing Red.
