2013 LINCOLN MKZ/MKZ HYBRID: Marking a key milestone in Lincoln's reinvention, is the dramatic 2013 Lincoln MKZ midsize luxury sedan, the first model created by the new Lincoln Design Studio. The exterior is defined by a sweeping roofline, steeply raked windshield, classic split-wing grille (first used on 1938 Lincoln-Zephyr), crafted LED headlights in sync with the steering wheel, and thin, full-width LED taillight graphic. Complimenting the sophisticated body lines, the MKZ offers three distinct powertrains. The standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost delivers 240 horsepower and a 20-percent increase in highway fuel economy versus the 2012 MKZ. Next, the optional 3.7L V-6 produces 300hp that is 37hp more than the previous MKZ V-6 while improving fuel economy five-percent. When equipped for a trailer, the V-6 has a 2,000 pound tow capacity. Both of those engines utilize a six-speed automatic transmission with standard paddle shifters, and can be match to models with either the front-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations. The '13 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is front-wheel drive and equipped with the 141hp 2.0L I-4 engine combined with an electric motor for a total rating of 188hp. The entire setup is linked with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Innovation and technology abound inside all '13 MKZ, starting with a retractable panoramic roof that utilizes a 15.2-square-foot glass panel. The new MKZ is the only sedan in its class to offer inflatable second-row outboard seat belts, and the available THX II car audio system is a Lincoln-exclusive that contains 700 watts, 14 channels and 14 speakers. Finally, the well-tailored truck provides an ample 15.4 cu. ft. of luggage room. Visit the official site for more information
