2013 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA: Volkswagen best selling model is the Jetta, and for 2013, it receives a number of technology and interior comfort updates. This is the sixth-generation Jetta, with a longer wheelbase and nearly three inches added to the overall length than previous generation. In addition to the Jetta 2.0L, 2.5L and 2.0L TDI trim levels, is the top-tier turbocharged GLI, as well as an S with Sunroof, and TDI Clean Diesel with Premium packages. The choice of gasoline engines - 115 horsepower 2.0L four-cylinder and 170hp 2.5L five cylinder, or the diesel 2.0L four-cylinder TSI turbo that produces 140hp. Depending on setup, there is a standard five-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic transmission to direct horses and torque to the front-wheels. Steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters are available with the automatic. New for 2013 is a two-tone black and beige interior available and a six-way power driver seat with lumbar support. That gently arcing roofline also means more than ample headroom in the five-passenger interior, which compliments the spacious 15.5 cu. ft. of trunk. Volkswagen is changing the meaning of the term 'performance vehicle' by adding the remarkable new Fender Premium Audio System that cranks out 400 watts of power played through nine speakers, including a trunk-mounted subwoofer, to bring the raw emotion of a live music performance to the driving experience. You can spot the GLI from the regular Jetta, courtesy of its honeycomb grille, a deeper front spoiler, and GTI-style vertical foglights, wide-spoke 18-inch design for the GLI Autobahn model and red-painted brake calipers.
