Hyundai Genesis
2013 HYUNDAI GENESIS SEDAN: Hyundai continues its success in the premium segment with the Genesis sedan for 2013. The model line has been restructured to include the 3.8 technology package and 5.0 R-Spec edition. Gone is the 4.6L and standard 5.0L V-8 models. The Lambda 3.8L V-6 engine develops 333 horsepower, and is available in three equipment configurations. Exclusive to the 5.0 R-Spec package is the 5.0L direct injection Tau V-8 that produces a strong 429 hp and 376 lb. ft. of torque to the rear wheels. This is the most powerful Hyundai V-8 engine ever. Standard on all trim-levels is the in-house-developed eight-speed automatic transmission. The R-Spec package includes unique 19-inch machined-finish alloy wheels, optional Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position summer performance tires, enhanced chassis and steering calibrations. Hyundai's Blue Link combines safety, service and infotainment features to simplify owners' lives and reduce distracted driving, accompanied by a one-year complimentary trial period. Blue Link is offered in three packages: Assurance, Essentials and Guidance. All '13 Genesis models wear an aggressive grille and fascia designs, LED accented head and rear taillights, plus, dual asymmetrical exhaust tips integrated into the bumper fascia. Spacious cabin seats five-passengers in luxury, with woodgrain color accents for the Black, Beige or Saddle leather interiors. And for traveling, the Genesis trunk holds a generous 15.9 cu. ft. of luggage.
