2013 TOYOTA COROLLA: For 2013, the Toyota Corolla is offered in three grades: the base-model Corolla L, the LE, and sporty S grade, with new amenities and choice of Premium Packages. The styling of the '13 Corolla compact models, with input from studios in Turin, Italy, feature a revised chrome-accented grille, and the LE and S grades include a standard Display Audio system with 6.1-inch touch screen. All Corollas are front-wheel drive, contain a standard all-weather package and come equipped with a 1.8 liter DOHC four-cylinder. The 132 horsepower engine is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic electronically controlled transmission. Either setup earns a 34 mpg highway rating, and have a maximum towing capacity of 1500 pounds. Built on a 102.4-inch wheelbase, the Corolla provides room for five passengers, and offered in three interior color schemes: Ash, Dark Charcoal, Bisque and Bisque High. Popular items for the Corolla are a power tilt/slide moonroof with sliding sunshade, navigation and Entune multi-media system, 6.1-in. touch-screen, AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA playback capability, SiriusXM satellite radio, iTunes tagging and music streaming via Bluetooth. The LE grade receives a chrome accented beltline along with its new chrome front grille. Consumers who select the sporty Corolla S grade receive a street-smart look with 16 inch alloy wheels; multi-reflector halogen headlamps with black housing; color-keyed spoilers, sport side rocker panels, unique S badge and integrated fog lamps.
